Over 4.57 lakh Odisha beneficiaries to get Subhadra Yojana instalment this week

The instalment under the Subhadra yojana will be released this week, bringing financial relief to a large number of women across the State. As many as 4,57,681 women beneficiaries are set to receive Subhadra assistance in this phase.

Among them, 1,78,398 newly added beneficiaries will receive Rs 5,000 each as their first instalment. Additionally, women who were earlier excluded from the scheme have now been re-included after verification.

Officials confirmed that all beneficiaries who were previously left out will receive all their pending instalments in a single payment, ensuring no eligible women recipient is deprived of the scheme’s benefits.

The move is expected to strengthen women’s financial security in Odisha and reaffirm the State government’s commitment to inclusive welfare delivery.

“We carried out a detailed review (of the previously submitted applications) for Subhadra yojana, and around 4,57,681 women beneficiaries will get their assistance money this week. Those beneficiaries include the newly registered 1,78,398 women, and after verification, 24,018 women who were excluded earlier for some or the other reason have been re-included in the scheme,” Deputy CM Pravati Parida expressed.

“Besides, 2,55,265 women, who had received the 3rd instalment but whose names were not there in the list for the 1st and 2nd instalments, will also get the assistance based on survey reports. A total of more than Rs 250 crore (Subhadra assistance money) will be disbursed this time,” the Deputy CM stated while speaking to mediapersons.

“The beneficiaries (eligible women), whose instalments are pending and they have not received their assistance money, will get all instalments at a time,” the Deputy CM added.
