The winners of OTV’s 'Ama Sahi Medha' Contest 2025 in various categories across Cuttack and Bhubaneswar were awarded for their outstanding performances.
As many as seven Puja pandals in Cuttack were awarded for their excellence on Wednesday. In Bhubaneswar, out of the seven winning committees, some were felicitated yesterday, while the remaining have been awarded on Thursday
The honours were presented in different categories:
Best Puja Gate: Saheed Nagar Durga Puja Committee, Bhubaneswar
Best Decoration: Bomikhal Durga Puja Committee, Bhubaneswar
Best Lighting: Kalinga Durga Puja Committee, Pathargadia, Bhubaneswar
Best Theme: Rasulgarh Durga Puja Committee, Bhubaneswar
Best Parshwa Devata: VSS Nagar Durga Puja Committee, Bhubaneswar
Best Meena Bazar: Nuapalli Durga Puja Committee, Bhubaneswar
Creative Theme: Old Station Bazar Puja Committee, Bhubaneswar
The recognition highlights the cultural vibrancy and artistic grandeur of the Durga Puja celebrations in both cities.

"We have got the reward for our hard work. We are overjoyed for it," said Old Station Bazar Puja Committee member Bibhuti Bhusan Samal.
OTV organised the creative initiative- ‘Aama Sahi Medha’ competition this year, aimed at recognising and celebrating the best Puja pandals across the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
The competition drew enthusiastic participation across 14 categories, reflecting the vibrant artistry, devotion, and community spirit of Durga Puja celebrations in Odisha.
