Website of Mahakalpada-based college hacked
Kendrapara: The website of Shri Shri Bayababa College has been hacked and remarks against the Indian Army were posted on it. College authorities lodged a police complaint in this connection on Monday.
Identifying himself as ‘Nitro G3N’, the hacker said on the website of the college located at Mahakalpada that the Army is killing innocent people in Kashmir. India will lose its dearest Kashmir due to the atrocities committed by the Army, the message posted by him said.
Sarat Chandra Khatai, Principal of the college said, “I have lodged a complaint at the local police station regarding this.”
Meanwhile, Padarabinda Tripathy, IIC, Mahakalpada, said “On the basis of the allegations, a case has been lodged with the number 41. We will investigate into it with assistance from the Crime Branch.”
In January, the website of Bhubaneswar-based Orissa University Of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) was hacked by an engineering student, who had accepted to committing the crime but said he did it unwittingly while doing an experiment as part of his course in ehtical hacking.
Later, the engineering student was released by the Commissionerate Police on a personal recognizance (PR) bond as he had no ill-intention in hacking the OUAT website, a top official of the Commissionerate Police had said.
