Students ransack PN College premises over hike in fees

Khurda: Tension prevailed on the premises of PN College here yesterday as Plus II and III students of the college ransacked the educational institution protesting against increase in readmission fees.

The students alleged that the college authority did not listen to their demands. This year the college authorities increased readmission fees by Rs 150.

The situation was brought to control after police reached the college and pacified the students.

After an emergency meeting, the classes in the college were suspended for three days, said PK Das, principal of the institution.
