Netaji museum all decked up for birth anniversary
Cuttack: The Netaji Birthplace Museum in Odia Bazaar in Cuttack is all decked up to celebrate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. A slew of activities has been lined up at the museum to mark the occasion.
Tributes began as early as 4 AM in the morning with the soulful ‘Ram Dhun’ reverberating in the air. AaYajna was also organised inside the room where Netaji was born.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit the museum during the day and pay homage to Netaji. He will also unveil a booklet containing some valuable information about the Indian National Army (INA).
Several flower and plant galleries have been set up for the visitors by museum authorities.
“Netaji was a great leader and freedom fighter. Thousands of followers and supporters are expected to visit the museum on his anniversary today,” informed museum sources.
