Naxal injured in gunfire; ultras set truck afire
Malkangiri: A naxal was injured in an exchange of fire between security personnel and Maoists in Chintagumpha forest on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border on Monday.
The injured was arrested and admitted to a local hospital.
In a related development, suspected Maoists set a truck on fire on Odisha-Chhattisgarh border near Narayanpur forest area.
Sources said, the Reds have also abducted the driver of the vehicle which was going from Munda to Narayanpur.
Police have reached the spot for investigation.
Meanwhile, total 25 Maoist militias surrendered before Malkangiri SP Mitrabhanu Mahapatra.
