Allotment scam: OSHB serves notices to 74
Bhubaneswar: As a part of the probe into the irregularities in allotment of plots and houses under the Discretionary Quota, the Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) has served show-cause notices to errant beneficiaries. Under the discretionary category 53 beneficiaries have been served notices, while 21 beneficiaries under the multiple-allotment category have been show-caused, informed chairman of the State Housing Board Pratap Deb.
Notably, acting on the State Cabinet’s decision based on the recommendation of the Taradutt Task Force Committee on Allotment of Plots and Flats under Discretionary Quota, the Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) served show-cause notices to 13 single allotment beneficiaries on June 27. The authority has sent show-cause notices to a total of 171 beneficiaries so far.
