2 students injured as school bus meets accident

Chandbali: Two students of DAV Public School located in Dhamara town in Bhadrak district of Odisha were injured as the school’s bus collided head-on with a pick-up van on Saturday.

The injured were admitted to DPCL hospital in Dhamara Port area.

In recent past, this is the third incident when a school vehicle met accident injuring students.

Notably, on October 1, three school students were injured as an autorickshaw carrying them overturned near Panthanivas in Sector-5 of Rourkela. The driver of the vehicle Naba Kishore Behera was arrested for drunk driving.

Similarly, one girl student and a person was killed when an autorickshaw carrying school students collided with a mini bus near Satamile in Hindol of Dhenkanal in last week of September.
