Bhubaneswar: Orissa girl Ankita Mohapatra has once again brought laurels to the state after making it to the Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2011 beauty pageant contest through discipline and hard work.

The Mumbai-based Oriya girl is all set to make it big at the prestigious PFMI 2011 contest after being crowned as Pantaloons Femina Miss India East 2011 early this year.

Ankita’s journey to limelight was carved way back in 2009 when she won Gladrags Mega Model Contest in 2009. The 23-year-old techie was coached by pageant coach Ritika Ramtri of The Tiara, a Pune-based pageant training studio, during the event which she did not let the opportunity go.

Ankita, also a passionate Odissi dancer, took the world head over heels when she was crowned as the Miss Friendship International 2009 at an international pageant contest in Beijing in 2009.

Like any of her co-contestants Ankita too wishes to win Miss India 2011 and represent India internationally. She is also ambitious about her Bollywood dreams.
