Bhubaneswar:  Following the allegations of irregularities in the evaluation of answer sheets of Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) examination, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Friday issued a clarification along with a stern warning to candidates spreading the rumours.

In its clarification, OPSC said that some students are spreading baseless rumours about irregularities in OAS exam 2015 and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) exam 2018. "All these rumours are baseless and carries no truth; and the demands for revaluation are being made with ill intentions," the Commission said.

The Commission further said that students spreading such rumours will be barred from taking next OPSC and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams.

OPSC believes in maintaining transparency in exams and also in the entire selection process. "Those having any complaints regarding any exam can directly approach the Commission," the clarification read urging students not to approach media with their grievances.
