One killed, two injured in mishap

Rourkela: An employee of a private fabrication unit was killed and two others injured when the wheel loader water tank suddenly bursted at Kansabahal, about 30 km from here today, police said. Ratan Lal (40), a fitter of the unit, hailing from Uttar Pradesh was testing the water tank by using capacity pressure but suddenly the measuring meter of the tank went off, injuring him critically.

He was taken to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) here where doctors declared him brought dead. Two others injured in the incident, have been admitted at a private hospital for treatment and their condition was stated to be stable, hospital sources said. The body has been sent for post-mortem, the sources said.
