Bhubaneswar/Malkangiri: In third such incident in past 48 hours, Maoists on late Tuesday night shot one CRPF jawan dead in Dantewada of Chhatisgarh. According to information available, as many as 10-15 armed rebels fired indiscriminately at the police quarters in Dantewada town leaving one CRPF jawan dead and another injured. The injured has been admitted to Dantewada hospital.

Earlier on Tuesday two CRPF commandos were killed in an IED blast triggered by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh`s Bijapur district. The attack came a day after Maoists blew off an anti-landmine vehicle killing a CRPF trooper in Bastar region.
