Berhampur: A man was murdered by three miscreants at Somanathpalli village under Gangapur police station in Ganjam district, the police today.

The killing of Krushan Chandra Behera (30) with sharp weapons yesterday was suspected to be the fallout of a feud between two families. The accused were identified but none was arrested as they had fled, Superintendent of Police Ashish Singh said.

Sub-divisional police officer (Bhanjanagar) R Ch Sethi along with force had gone to the village where tension prevailed, the SP said.

In another incident, at least three persons were injured in a bomb blast in Bairibada village under Golanthara police station last evening, the police said.

Previous enmity between two groups of villagers was the cause of the incident, the sources said adding armed police personnel were deployed in the village.
