The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authority has released the detailed activity calendar for the 2026–27 academic session, outlining key dates for applications, entrance examinations, result declaration and counselling across various professional courses.
The academic calendar has been prepared by the OJEE authority and approved by the Skill Development and Technical Education Department during a Policy Planning Body meeting held on December 22. The move is aimed at streamlining the admission process and ensuring timely completion of all stages, from entrance tests to final admissions.
Application and Examination Schedule
According to the notified schedule, the application process for OJEE 2026 will begin on January 27, 2026, and will continue till March 26, 2026. The entrance examinations for multiple courses will be conducted between May 11 and May 17, 2026.
Courses covered under OJEE include B.Pharm, MCA, MSc (Computer Science), MBA, Integrated MBA, B.CAT, Nursing, M.Tech, M.Tech (Part-Time), M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm, and lateral entry to B.Tech and B.Pharm.
The results of the OJEE 2026 entrance examination are tentatively scheduled to be declared on May 31, 2026.
Counselling and Special OJEE
Counselling for all courses, except MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS, is slated to commence in the second week of June 2026. In addition, the OJEE authority has planned to conduct a second or Special OJEE for select courses, including B.Tech, B.Pharm, lateral entry to B.Tech, MBA and MCA.
Applications for the Special OJEE will be accepted from the first week to the second week of June 2026. The Special OJEE examination is tentatively scheduled to be held between June 25 and June 30, 2026.
Admission Closure and Exam Mode
The OJEE counselling process is expected to conclude by July 31, 2026. College-level admissions are scheduled to take place between August 1 and August 15, with the entire admission process to be completed by August 15, 2026, or as per the Academic Calendar of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Counselling for MBBS, BDS and all AYUSH courses will be conducted in accordance with the schedules and guidelines issued by the respective statutory commissions for the State authorities.
All OJEE entrance examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
