Bhubaneswar: The online Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for admission into different PG courses began today. The examination is being conducted in three sittings. While the first sitting was held from 9 AM till 11 AM, the second and third sittings will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, respectively.

This is the first time that OJEE is conducting the entrance examination for the PG courses in varsities of the State.

Of the 17,355 students who have applied for admission into engineering and other professional courses including M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Pharm, M.Plan and MCA, 8000 are appearing for the examination today.

Other 9,355 students will appear the computer-based test (CBT) for admission into MBA courses on Sunday. They will write the exam in two sittings - 10 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM.

The OJEE online exam for PG courses was initially slated to be held on May 13, however, it was postponed due to severe cyclonic storm Fani.
