Bhubaneswar: The online entrance examination for post graduate (PG) courses under the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will be held on June 8 and 9, informed OJEE chairman Sudeep Kumar Chand today. This is for the first time that the OJEE will conduct the entrance examination for the PG courses on online platform.

The examination will be held in three sittings for the admissions into the PG courses--- M Tech, M Tech (lateral entry), M Pharm, M Arch, M Plan, Master in Computer Applications (MCA), MCA (lateral entry) and M Arch on June 8.

Similarly, the students who have applied for Masters degree course in Business Administration (MBA) will appear for the online entrance examination in the following day, which will be held in two sittings.

As many as 17,355 candidates will sit for the examination which will be conducted in 24 centres across eight towns in the State.

"The second phase of OJEE, which was postponed due to cyclone Fani, will be held on June 8 and 9. The examination will be held on online platform," informed Chand.

The OJEE chairman also urged the candidates to reach the examination centres at least before one and half hours.

Notably, the computer based test (CBT) was scheduled to be held on May 13, however, it was postponed in the aftermath of devastating cyclone Fani.
