Odisha: Youth Thrashed, Urinated Upon By Miscreants Over Past Enmity

Khurda: A youth was allegedly tied to a tree and beaten black and blue by two miscreants at Kaipadar village under Sadar Police limits of the district. Shockingly, the torture went on for hours, but locals remained mute spectators and were busy making a video of the same.

The video which has now gone viral on social media even shows that the victim was urinated upon by one of the miscreants.

Preliminary reports revealed that the incident took place on December 18 and the victim, who hails from nearby Bangida village, was allegedly abducted by the accused duo over past enmity. The miscreants then thrashed him mercilessly, abused him, punched him, kicked him on his face, used sticks to vent out their anger on him.

Though the victim pleaded everyone to quench his thirst, all the bystanders and passersby remained spectators instead of releasing him. One woman later gathered courage to stop them, but failed to free the victim from their clutches.

Both the accused are residents of Kaipadar, however, no police complaint has been filed in this regard so far, sources said.
