Bhubaneswar: While cold wave conditions continue to prevail in the State, several parts of Odisha are likely to receive rainfall on January 22 and 23.

As per the latest forecast by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, light to moderate rainfall may occur for two days at Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh and Angul districts.

Following the rain, Odisha may witness a drop in temperature from January 23.

Besides rainfall, the Met department has issued lightning and thunderstorm warning for Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts for January 22 and 23.

"We have issued Yellow Warning for several districts in Odisha as dense fog may prevail in the interior and the coastal areas," said Sudhakar Barik, weather expert at the Regional Meteorological Centre.
