Odisha to host Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for four days of divine enlightenment

Renowned spiritual leader, humanitarian, and founder of The Art of Living, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, is set to visit Odisha from November 6 to 9, 2025, marking a spiritually vibrant four-day tour across the state.

The Odisha Government has officially declared Gurudev a State Guest in recognition of his global humanitarian work and long-standing association with the state through Sri Sri University (SSU).

The visit will commence with a grand Maha Satsang in Jharsuguda on November 6, drawing thousands of devotees and followers from across the region. During his stay, Gurudev will also grace the 12th Convocation Ceremony of Sri Sri University as the Founder and Life-time President of the institution.

The convocation will also see the presence of Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Education, as the Chief Guest.

A major highlight of the visit will be the inauguration of Asia’s first International Osteopathy Convention, a landmark three-day event hosted at Sri Sri University. Gurudev will also address the Bureaucrats’ Conclave on the theme “Vikshit Odisha 2047 – Ethics in Governance” at the Lok Seva Bhawan, organised by the Government of Odisha.

Further, he will inaugurate several key initiatives — including “NAVONMESH”, an innovation exhibition, “SANKALP”, a conclave of academic leaders, and the Sri Sri Centre for Enterprise Risk Management, launched in collaboration with the Institute of Risk Management (IRM). MoUs with reputed higher education institutions will also be signed in Gurudev’s presence to strengthen academic collaboration.

The highlight of the visit will be the massive Maha Satsang at the Sri Sri University campus on the evening of November 7, open to students, faculty, and the general public. The event promises to be an inspiring gathering of consciousness, meditation, and human transformation — celebrating Odisha’s spiritual heritage and Gurudev’s message of peace and unity.
