Odisha social worker Shivaji Panda invited to Rashtrapati Bhavan for Republic Day

On the evening of the upcoming Republic Day, Shivaji will get the opportunity to meet the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Shivaji Panda from Odisha has received a special invitation from Raisina Hills to attend the upcoming Republic Day celebration as a guest at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

A resident of Lakhanpur Eco Village under Ulunda block in Subarnapur district, Shivaji Panda is the founder of the 'Happy Hand' school for the divyangas. Following the receipt of the invitation, an atmosphere of joy and celebration prevails at the Eco Village.

Shivaji has been working in Lakhanpur since 2017, where he established an Eco Village along with the Happy Hand school for the divyangas. At present, 79 divyangas from Odisha and other states are residing there and receiving education and care.

In recognition of his dedicated and humanitarian work, Shivaji Panda has been appreciated and honoured by various organisations on several occasions. Now, his efforts have received national recognition with an invitation from the President of India.

On the evening of the upcoming Republic Day, Shivaji  will get the opportunity to meet the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

"We are so happy over the development. We have been working with Shivaji for the last 25 years. The school was established some 10 years back. We are very pleased for the recognition. I have seen my husband working with so much of passion and commitment," said Shivaji Panda's wife.
