Odisha MLA Issues ‘No Vote No Work’ Threat In Viral Video
Phulbani: BJD MLA from G. Udayagiri, Saluga Pradhan has found himself in the eye of storm after a video purportedly showing him threatening people to not work for those who did not vote for him in 2019 general elections, went viral on social media.
Even if the exact date and timing of the video is yet to be ascertained, it showed the legislator addressing a meeting and saying, “I will not let them do any work who have not voted me in the election, but let me say one thing, those who join BJD and help our party candidate win the 2022 Zilla Parishad polls, I will work for them.”
Expressing ignorance over the viral video, Pradhan, while speaking to OTV over phone, clarified that he never gave such speech. “Someone else has done this in order to tarnish my image. I will seek legal help to take action against the culprit involved in the incident,” he said.
