Serious questions were raised on Saturday over the ongoing Matriculation examinations after a handwritten question-and-answer sheet reportedly went viral in parts of Western Odisha. The incident has raised questions about the integrity and security of the examination process.

The matter came to the fore after the handwritten sheet, which allegedly contains answers to the Social Science paper conducted yesterday, began circulating on social media platforms. However, it remains unclear where the document originated from and whether it is authentic.

DEO Denies Paper Leak

Meanwhile, Bargarh District Education Officer Jyotikant Sahu has issued a clarification stating that no such incident has been reported from any examination centre in Bargarh district. He emphasized that examinations in the district were conducted smoothly and without any irregularities.

“Yesterday was a holiday. We haven’t received any such complaint, the DEO said.

Further updates are awaited as authorities assess the situation to ensure transparency and maintain public confidence in the examination system.
