Bhubaneswar: In a bid to bring transparency and resolve other issues related to delay in grant of necessary clearances, Odisha government on Saturday launched ‘Online Clinical Establishment Management System'  (CEMSO) for registration and renewals of clinical establishments in the State.

With help of the new system, nearly 1800 private hospitals and clinics will be benefited as they can now apply and obtain No Objection Certificates (NOC) and other renewals without much hassles, informed State health and family welfare minister, Naba Kishore Das.

“Clinical establishments without Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and having less than 30 bed capacity, three storied hospital building less than 12 metres in height can apply for registration through an affidavit,” said Das.

Das further informed that 1800 clinical establishments are registered under the Clinical Establishment Act 1990 in Odisha. Moreover, the entire registration process will be completed within 90 days.
