Nuapada: A migrant labourer from Kamkeda village under Komna block of Nuapada district who had reportedly gone to Andhra Pradesh to work has allegedly gone missing. The labourer has been identified as Jamar Biswal.

According to sources, a few days back, Jamar had gone to Andhra Pradesh to work in a brick kiln. His parents however have alleged that the owner of the kiln was harassing and physically assaulting him.

"Jamal had spoken to us over phone saying that he was harassed by the owner. A few days back one of his friends informed us that my brother is missing" said Bhramara Biswal, Jamar's brother.

"I don't know whether my son is alive or not. It's been 45 days and we are still unable to contact him," said Mangalu Biswal, Jamar's father.

Meanwhile, Jamal's parents have sought help from the district labour office.
