A fresh twist emerged in the alleged rape case involving an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, as his sister appeared at Sahid Nagar Police Station in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday and claimed that the accusations were fabricated.

She alleged that the complainant had filed false charges and stated that she had earlier lodged a complaint against the woman at a Mahila Police Station before the rape allegations surfaced.
The IRS officer’s cousin sister (paternal aunt’s daughter) further accused the complainant woman of conspiring to defame their family by making serious and damaging claims.
Police have questioned her regarding her complaint as part of the ongoing investigation. An officer of Additional DCP rank is currently leading the probe into the matter.
Sources indicate that four separate cases have been registered by both parties, reflecting escalating tensions between them. Authorities continue to examine the sequence of events as the investigation progresses.
“The woman is Milli Parida. You (to the media) check her character and records since 2017 at Nayapalli, Sahid Nagar, and Mahila Police Station. She has filed multiple cases claiming to be with my husband. She lives near my sister-in-law and my father-in-law’s house. She has been around since she was a child,” the IRS officer’s sister, Damayanti Satpathy, said.
“The allegations against my brother are completely false. He wasn’t even there that day; he was at his office. He even sent us lunch through a peon,” the IRS officer’s sister stated.
“She has brought such serious allegations out of a grudge because I had filed a case against her at the Mahila Police Station. Secondly, I am now removing her from my husband’s life. My husband and I are back together. I have a 14-year-old daughter. Should I allow her to continue sleeping with my husband?” Damayanti questioned.
“She was doing that, but when my daughter arrived, I told her that she can't stay anymore. A fight broke out because of that, and they attacked me. Then I kicked her out of the quarters. After I filed a case at the police station, she tried to frame me at the Infocity station, claiming I made her photos viral,” the IRS officer’s sister added.
