Addressing gathering on second lecture of Odisha Knowledge Hub (OKH) series here at the Secretariat, Gulati elaborated the link between agriculture growth and poverty reduction in national and international contexts.

However, expressing concern over the slow growth rate of the sector in Odisha he said, “In the past decade, Odisha’s growth rate in agriculture stands at 2.5% in comparison to national average of 3.6%. The State must prepare a road map to achieve more than the national growth rate figure.”
