Odisha govt effects minor reshuffle in OAS cadre; Priyaranjan Prusty appointed SJTA Niti administrator

The Odisha Government on Tuesday carried out a minor reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre, issuing transfer and posting orders for several senior officers.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Priyaranjan Prusty, OAS (SAG), who was serving as CDO-cum-Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Puri, has been transferred and posted as Administrator (Niti) of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri. The order was issued with the approval of the competent authority.

In a separate notification released by the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, two OAS officers have been transferred and posted as Block Development Officers (BDOs).

Akshay Kumar Parida, who was serving as Ex-Tahasildar, Tigiria in Cuttack district, has been appointed as BDO of Niali block in Cuttack district. Meanwhile, Chhabirani Sahoo, who was serving as BDO of Gop block in Puri district, has been transferred and posted as BDO of Binjharpur block in Jajpur district.

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative adjustments aimed at ensuring effective governance and administrative efficiency across districts.
