Odisha govt effects minor reshuffle in OAS cadre Photograph: (OTV)
The Odisha government on Tuesday effected a minor reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre, transferring two officers with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department, Manoj Kumar Behera, OAS Group-A (Senior Branch), who was serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti and Tourism, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Officer of Maharaja Jajati Keshari Medical College and Hospital (MJK MC&H), Jajpur.
In a corresponding move, Khitish Behera, OAS Group-A (Senior Branch), who was working as Block Development Officer (BDO), Delang, has been appointed as OSD to the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti and Tourism.
The notification further stated that the earlier posting of Khitish Behera as Administrative Officer, MJK MC&H, Jajpur, made through a GA & PG Department notification dated July 24, 2025, has been cancelled.

The transfers have been ordered by the Governor of Odisha. Copies of the notification have been forwarded to the concerned departments and authorities for information and necessary action, the order added.
