Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is all set to roll out new its - ‘Mo Bus’ services in the capital city from tomorrow ahead of the Men’s Hockey World Cup.

According to sources, the service will be launched as a part of state government-owned Capital Region Urban Transport's (CRUT) ‘City Bus Modernisation' programme. The services will be launched for the residents of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner, Krishan Kumar informed that ‘Mo Bus’ services will be launched tomorrow from Biju Patnaik International Airport.”

Kumar further said, “Around 300 buses will be rolled out in three different phases and in the first phase, 100 buses will begin plying from Wednesday 11 AM.”

The buses will operate daily for 15 hours from 7 AM to 10PM on 9 routes according to the network plan finalised earlier. Following the launch, buses will be available in 10-12 min duration for commuters.

The new buses are reportedly very modern and hi-tech with advanced and better facilities for commuters.

While the Phase-II is scheduled to be launched from November 15, the Phase-III will be rolled out on December 10.
