Bhubaneswar: Reaffirming its 'zero tolerance ' stand on corruption, Odisha government on Saturday dismissed 15 officers who were found guilty in graft cases. Besides, the pension remittance of two other officials has also been stopped.

The officers, who have been dismissed, are former Motor Vehicles Inspector in transport department in Boudh, Debi Prasad Padhi, Dungripalli cooperative society ex-secretary Debadutta Dash, Umarkot Octroi sarkar Kali Prasad Singh, Dhamnagar tehsil junior clerk Bata Krushna Barik, M.Rampur (Kalahandi) ex-VLW Krushna Mohan Das,

Besides, the pension remittance to retired assistant engineer of Kalahandi ITDA, Aswini Kumar Sharma and retired APD of Kalahandi District Rural Development Agency, Sashank Sekhar Patnaik over conviction on corruption charges.
