Earlier, the Odisha government began land registration, buying, and selling directly at Tehsil offices from November 1, marking a significant shift from the existing practice of carrying out registrations at sub-registrar or district nodal offices.

Under the new system, citizens can book slots online and complete their registration at the nearest tehsil office, eliminating the need to travel to district headquarters.
