Odisha effects minor reshuffle in bureaucracy

Bhubaneswar:  Senior IAS officer Chandra Sekhar Kumar was appointed Chairman of Odisha State Warehousing Corporation today following a minor reshuffle in bureaucracy. Kumar is presently posted as the principal secretary to government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department.

Nikunja Bihari Dhal, Principal Secretary to Excise Department with additional Charge of Principal Secretary to Science and Technology Department has been appointed Principal Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Department.

As per a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Dhal will hold additional charge of Principal Secretary to the State govt’s Excise Department.

IAS officer Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, currently serving as Principal Secretary to Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the State govt’s Science and Technology Department.
