Bhubaneswar: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a slew of projects worth Rs 1300 crore in Bhubaneswar today and distributed land 'rights certificates' to slum dwellers as a part of the Awas Yojana. The CM also disbursed financial assistance to women under Mission Shakti.

Addressing the event, CM Naveen Patnaik said “Today 10,000 people were given land rights certificate as part of Awas Yojana. My greatest satisfaction is in ensuring happiness for the poor and I am always there for them.”
Naveen also assured that rest of the slum dwellers will soon be provided houses.

Patnaik also launched a website named www.bhubaneswar.me which will provide information on food, lodging and travelling facilities in Bhubaneswar to tourists from the State and foreign countries.
