Raygada: Odisha Chief Secretary Jugal Kishore Mohapatra today asked officials to report him directly about the hurdles they face due to Maoists while undertaking developmental activities.
 
Mohapatra said this during his visit two-day visit to tribal dominated and maoist-hit Rayagada district in southern part of the state.
 
Earlier the Chief Secretary was apprised about the problems being created by the red rebels while implementing different welfare measures in remote areas of Rayagada district.
 
Yesterday he visited Muniguda, Bisamacuttack and inaugurated a ladies hostel at Chatikana village for Dangria Kandha.
 
Mohapatra today visited five development projects at Gunpur and Ramanaguda block comprising agriculture, horticulture, minor-irrigation scmes and different activities and particularly the programmes have facilitate to the tribal people under MNREGA programme.
 
All the beneficiaries were present at the time of Chief Secretary's visit.
