Odia-speaking Man 'Burnt Alive' In Andhra For Practising 'Black Magic'

Koraput: A 55-year-old Odia speaking man in Potalbandh village under Dumuriguda Police limits in Andhra Pradesh near Odisha border was allegedly burnt alive by villagers on suspicion of practising black magic.

The deceased has been identified as Jayaram Khila, who was allegedly tied and set on fire by some local residents in the village. After getting information about the incident, a team of cops reached the spot and launched an investigation.

As per reports, the cops have collected some ash from the crime spot and detained some persons in connection with the case.

"My husband was brutally killed by some villagers in broad daylight," said wife of the deceased.
