Bhubaneswar: Odia short film ‘Sanjog’ directed by Ashutosh Pattnaik was placed in third position in the ‘We care film festival’ organised in the capital city on Friday. The short film based on Autism tries to send a message to society that there is no difference between specially abled and others.

Suresh Mishra and Sudhashri have played the lead characters in the short film which has received warm appreciation.

“This is for the first time that I have worked in short film. Film making has undergone a sea change and it was really a unique experience for me” said actor Suresh Mishra.

“I want the perception of people about short films to change and they should understand its relevance. It should gain so much popularity that it should be telecast in various electronic media” said Ashutosh Patnaik.

The seventh edition of annual We Care Film Festival was organised by Aaina at Institute of Engineers from 16 to 18 January 2019.

It is pertinent to mention here that, We Care Film Festival is an effort by the Brotherhood, a voluntary group in partnership with UNESCO, to raise awareness and to dispel stereotypes about disabilities.
