Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association on Monday announced a cash award of Rs 1 lakh as incentive for Rasanara Parwin for getting berth in the Indian Women`s Cricket T-20 Team for the ICC Women`s T-20 World Cup scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka in September-October 2012.
"It gives us immense pleasure that Parwin, a woman cricketer of the Odisha Cricket Association has been included in the final 14 of Indian Women`s Cricket T-20 Team," OCA Secretary Asirbad Behera said.
"It is a proud moment for cricket in the state, as a women cricketer from Odisha has been selected for India senior women`s cricket team for the second time after Madhuri Meheta," he said.
"We have announced Rs 1 lakh as prize for our proud women cricketer Rasanara Parwin," he said.
