Nabarangpur: At least seven persons of a marriage party were killed and 29 others injured when a truck overturned in Nabarangpur district, while two motorcyclists died in an accident in Ganjam district on Friday.
 
The truck was returning to Khaparakhelo village in adjoining Kalahandi district after a wedding at Biriguda when the driver lost control, police sources said.
 
The vehicle overturned near Malegam village under Chandahandi block in the early hours killing six persons, the sources said.
 
Another person died of his injuries in a hospital at Dharmagada in Kalahandi district, they said.
 
The injured persons were admitted to nearby hospitals with the condition of some stated to be critical.
 
In another accident, two motorcyclists were killed in a collision with a truck at Tanganapalli, about 20-km from Berhampur in Ganjam district, the sources added.
