Paradip: In a most tragic incident 9 passengers sustained grave injuries as crackers kept inside a running vehicle exploded suddenly near Kujang bazar on the Cuttack-Paradip road.

All the injured persons with grave bruises were first admitted to the Kujang hospital and later were shifted to the SCB medical at Cuttack as their condition was stated to be serious.Police sources said that the crackers were ferried in the most careless manner to Paradip to be used during the grand meeting of the Biju Shramik Sangathan.
