New judge for Orissa High Court

Acting Chief Justice of the High Court Justice Pradeep K Mohanty administered the oath of office to Justice Dash at a ceremony here inside the court premises.

All the judges of the High Court, members of the bar and several other dignitaries were present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Prior to his elevation to the bench of the High Court, Justice Dash was a district cadre judge and was officiating as the chairman of State Industrial Tribunal in Bhubaneswar.

With his appointment, the number of judges in the State High Court now becomes 12, ten short of sanctioned 22 judges for the state.
