New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani passengers fall sick due to suspected food poisoning

Bhubaneswar: As many as 20 passengers including children fell sick after taking food in New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express yesterday. As per reports, some passengers of B-3, B-5, B-7 and B-9 coaches have also complained of food poisoning symptoms after the train left New Delhi railway station Saturday evening.

When symptoms of some passengers worsened, authorities halted the train at Bokaro railway station in Jharkhand for immediate medial aid. Subsequently, some irate passengers created a ruckus demanding action against  the staff responsible for the incident.

Later, senior officials reached the spot and held discussions with the agitating passengers. The train services resumed after a delay of nearly an hour. The Railways has set up a probe to look into the matter.
