A Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya student in Koraput district has mysteriously gone missing since Friday evening. The incident has raised concern among school authorities and parents alike. The missing student has been identified as Naitik Suna, a Class VIII student of the residential school located at Landiguda, near Koraput town.

According to school officials, the student was last seen on the campus around 6 pm on Friday. When he failed to return, the school authorities lodged a complaint at the Koraput Town Police Station, following which a case was registered and an investigation was initiated.

CCTV Footage Provides Key Clues

Police officials said CCTV footage revealed that the student was seen wandering near Platform No. 4 of Koraput Railway Station on Friday evening. Prior to reaching the station, he was also spotted at a shop in Gandhi Nagar, where he was seen purchasing and drinking a cold beverage.

Based on these inputs, a police team from Koraput Town Police Station has reportedly moved towards Jagdalpur as part of the search operation.

Investigation Underway

Authorities are yet to ascertain how the student managed to leave the school campus without notice. Police are continuing their investigation and tracking possible movements using available leads.
