Bhubaneswar: After registering a thumping victory in the recently concluded 2019 elections, BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik today visited Puri Srimandir to seek blessings of Lord Jagannath ahead of his swearing-in ceremony tomorrow.

As per sources several VVIPs and industrialists including KM Birla, Naveen Jindal, Puneet Dalmia, Sangita Reddy, Ramakant Panda & Sanjiv Puri among others are likely to attend Naveen Patnaik and his new Council of Minister’s swearing-in ceremony in Bhubaneswar.

Besides all the elected MLAs and MPs, special arrangements have been made for 7,000 invited guests for the gala event in which Naveen Patnaik will take oath as chief minister of Odisha for the fifth consecutive term. Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Naveen and his new Council of Ministers.

Commissionerate Police has also made elaborate security arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony at Exhibition ground. Around 30 platoons of police force will be deployed for security, while special traffic arrangements have been made for traffic and crowd control.
