Bhubaneswar/Chennai: Speculation ran wild about BJD’s support to former West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi in the ensuing Presidential poll, when Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met the former in Chennai yester night. The duo’s meeting within 15 days has also raised eyebrows among many in the political sphere. It may be noted that Gandhi called on Naveen on April 24 at the latter’s residence.

Naveen who also met his Tamil Nadu counterpart J Jayalalithaa today afternoon discussed on various issues. Though details of the meeting are not known, it is speculated that both might have discussed on the set up of National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC). Later Naveen performed the bhoomi pooja of Odisha Bhawan.
