Bhubaneswar: There is enough space for a third political front at the Centre beyond the United Progressive Alliance(UPA) and the National Democratic Alliance(NDA). Chief minister Naveen Pattanaik while arguing for a third front today said that the Congress led UPA was deep into corruption and had lost its credibility among the voters while the NDA had sullied its image for being a communal front. Naveen argued that the third front should be above corruption and communalism.

Taking strong exceptions to the Centre for its stand on the opinion of the state government on the proposed National Counter Terrorism Centre Naveen chose to write letters to West bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam supremo Chandrababu Naidu to garner support in favour of the government`s argument.
