Naveen announces Rs 1.5 lakh for three Orissa players

Bhubaneswar:  Amidst controversy over the "meager" cash reward for the winning Asian Champions Trophy, the Orissa government today announced Rs 1.5 lakh each for three players hailing from the state, official sources said.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated the Indian Hockey team which won the trophy at China and announced the cash award for the three players - Ignesh Tirkey, Manajit Kulu and Roshan Minz.
