According to the complaint filed by Savitri Das, her son Sipu Das and daughter-in-law took the infant out of the house yesterday morning, on the pretext of taking her to a hospital. However, they returned home at night without the baby, raising suspicion among the grandparents.
When questioned about the whereabouts of the infant, the accused allegedly became aggressive. The grandmother has alleged that they engaged in a heated argument and even attempted to assault her when she repeatedly asked where the baby had gone.
