Mutilated body of woman found near Sundargarh ashram, murder suspected

The body of a woman was recovered from a field behind the Kalpataru Ashram at Shankara under Sundargarh Town Police Station on Thursday, triggering panic in the area. Police suspect foul play after noticing serious injuries on the victim’s face.

Local residents alerted the police after spotting the body in the field. Soon after receiving the information, police rushed to the scene and secured the area.
