Moving motorcycle bursts into flames in Dhenkanal, sparks panic among commuters

In an unusual incident, a moving motorcycle suddenly caught fire on the road, leading to panic among the commuters. The incident occurred near the Gajalaxmi Puja pandal at Chandan Bazar area of Dhenkanaltown on Tuesday. 

As per reports, the bike suddenly caught fire while the rider was travelling on the road. Acting swiftly, he abandoned the vehicle and moved to safety.

Due to the intense fire, traffic on both sides of the road came to a halt as frightened bystanders watched from a distance for a long time.

Upon receiving information, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and successfully brought the fire under control.

It has been learnt that the vehicle was a petrol-run motorcycle. However, it is yet to be ascertained under which circumstances the bike caught fire.

When preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Gajalaxmi Puja in Dhenkanal town, the unfortunate incident has shocked the residents in the area. As there was a heavy rush in the town due to the forthcoming Gajalaxmi Puja, the residents also panicked because of the unusual incident.
