Missing youth's body found inside well in Odisha

Sonepur: Body of a youth from Brahmanipali village of Sonepur district, who was reported missing since March 10, was found inside a well at Pipilipali village in Bargarh district.

The deceased, Sushant Nayak, had reportedly gone to Pipilipali on Sunday to attend a marriage party but didn't return home following which his family members lodged a missing complaint at Birmaharajpur Police Station.

“As he did not return home, we started searching for him and also lodged an FIR with the police. After a long search of two days, his body was found inside the well," said father of the deceased, Ishwar Nayak, adding that his son has been murdered.

Though the exact reason behind the death of Nayak is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he was murdered and then his body was thrown into the well. "The body has been sent for post-mortem and our probe into the incident is on," said a police official.
